So Hadrian’s a bring-your-kid-to-work-day kinda guy, every single day :D

Bernard’s a little more hands off, only because he doesn’t really know how he fits in to the family or if he’s supposed to be a dad or a babysitter or a boyfriend who’s not entirely part of the dynamic over there? But he’s trying and he’s friendly with Tim and wants to teach him stuff but yeah like, it’s rare for Tim and Hadrian to be split up so they’re pretty tight with each other. A real dynamic duo if you will haha.

It’s not so much newly discovered as it’s rarely used, so he knows he’s got it and can generally use it even if its not the most /realistic/ human shape around. So YES he’s used it for SPICY ACTIVITIES before and its not something that really takes time to get used to? That being said it’s been a long time since he’s switched over so he’s definitely got a like “wow a new toy” feeling about it right now aaand will be using it accordingly as soon as he and B have some time alone together ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I dont know why having an egg on top of a regular thing makes it special but it just does ok I mean don’t take my word for it here look at Bernard:

We’re getting into plot stuff here a little so I don’t wanna give tooooo much away ;D Basically things are gonna happen that’ll make his plans more achievable/necessary

Bernard doesn’t want Hadrian to know that life in the public eye has been pretty painful for him. Most of the court hates him because they assume he slept his way to the top, his house has basically disowned him for not taking advantage of suddenly being the first hellhound in history to be in a position of power and he is VERY overwhelmed by it, but just wants to be with Hadrian, so he’s trying very hard to not let him know that it’s bugging him.

Hadrian doesn’t want Bernard to know about his like 12.5 secret devious plans that range from “tie bernard up and wreck him in bed tonight so he stops looking so anxious and uptight” to “throw the court into complete chaos because the way we do things has been wrong for years and its time to change if we want to thrive as a kingdom”

I have lots of art tips! Probably too many for one post! Most of my art tips are telling you not to do things that I do myself on a regular basis and then regret.

1.) If you’re making a comic in black and white, don’t shade it as if you did it in color and then desaturated it. Instead, use the black and white and gray shades narratively to emphasize your storytelling. For example: a shocked character is suddenly full white on a black background. A character wearing all white can go into deep grey shadows. A character with dark hair doesnt need to have their hair dark on every panel- the reader remembers that their hair is dark. It’s more important that a panel is legible and serves visual storytelling than it is to always have a characters shirt a consistent % of grey across a page.

1a.) This also is true for comics in color but its harder and I don’t follow my own advice.

2. Thumbnail your pieces/comic pages before you draw them because composition is important. Clumping things together and varying the sizes of the different elements in your pieces makes for a more interesting composition. Organizing your compositions into three main values: black, white, and grey, can help with clarity when you get to the actual drawing/rendering stage.

3. Tracing work you like and doing mastercopies can radically improve your art very quickly. Just don’t post it up being like “this is mine” afterwards.

4. Don’t draw every single detail. Find good shorthands for detailed things and use that instead. DONT BE LIKE ME, A FOOL. A MASOCHIST. WHO ZOOMS IN TO 400% AND DRAWS LIKE 20 DEMONS ON A SINGLE TINY COMIC PANEL

5. Draw backgrounds, draw architecture. Incorporate your characters into those spaces rather than placing them on top.

6. If you get tired of drawing, stop before it starts hurting you. Burn out doesn’t come from working long hours when you’re excited. It comes from forcing yourself to work when you’re not excited.

7. Draw self indulgent stuff. Don’t hold back!

Gah this is a very hard question for me anon!

I’m really bad at knowing what I want most if not all of the time :O

Like birthday presents or Christmas presents or what have you are tough because if I can ask for something specific but if its something I want then I can just go buy it myself, which usually happens like, year round xD And I don’t typically feel the need to have a lot of extra stuff that doesn’t have much of a use? So usually I end up asking for something I don’t want to spend my own money on but do need like towels or like, plates or something.

And I typically just like people’s time/attention more than getting a specific item from them? Going places and doing things are my presents but also since we’re on the subject i also want TICKETS TO DISNEY WORLD.
